Scot McCloughan turns down Dolphins' interview for GM

Per a league source, the Dolphins requested permission to interview McCloughan. The Seahawks denied the request, at McCloughan’s request.

McCloughan isn’t ready to leave Seattle, where he has played an important supporting role in the rise of the team that will face on Sunday the team McCloughan had a direct role in building as the predecessor to Trent Baalke. Players like Frank Gore, Justin Smith, Joe Staley, and Patrick Willis were acquired by McCloughan.

That's nice. Our FO is amazing, so as long as these guys want to stay, that's fine by me.

Umm after the debacle in San Francisco Scott can smell disfunction in ownership a mile a way, credit the dude for being tactful and smart, Dolphins lol.
