I would argue that they are competing products. They may not compete in pricing since one is free, but they are essentially the same exact thing. Year long season highlights of every game. The bluray has some extra interviews and extra sound fx. That's about the only difference.
Open the YouTube rip in VLC, right-click the video, go to Tools, then click Codec Information and tell me what the values are for codec, channels, and bitrate on the primary audio stream. I'm guessing it's probably stereo and a mediocre bitrate, for example. You know what I like? 5.1 audio, be it through DTS or a different codec, with at least a 768 kbps variable bitrate or a 1,536 kbps constant bitrate.

For someone who is so against brand loyalty (iRo), you sure are drinking the must have NFL version of everything to be a good fan. If it doesn't have the Apple symbo... Ohh, I mean NFL Logo, then it's an inferior product, right?
Again, you don't actually read what I say, you just reinterpret things I say to suit your needs. Go back and check that thread. I said brand loyalty is fine as long as it's realistically warranted. I'm actually a
fan of brand loyalty, but it's a complicated issue to define. There's certainly a lot more to it than how effective the company's advertising is, or how cool you feel flashing the product around at Starbucks.
