We don't see the whole picture with most of these players as most of the practice stuff is not publicly available. Pn'J know what they want and keep the players that fit their vision for the team or those who compete best or who are the best fit for lots of different reasons, I.e. Contract, health, versatility, or size and ability to fit chemistry wise.

I agree with you about Walters and his starting to show some skills, but there was a log jam @ WR and Walters was similar to several of the real keepers and unfortunately surplus to needs. The team was very fair to Walters and showcased him so that his legitimate ability would likely be noticed by other teams. In the end it was simply a numbers thing and someone had to be released. I found that move a bit strange but I'm it was objectively based.

Given there are 7 WRs now I'd have to think changes may be still made and perhaps even several of those here now my not be or be moved to the PS or IR before too long. Perhaps Walters will return sooner than we know.

weird. Thought they were pretty high on Bates. Walters isn't terrible, just not particularly amazing. not really a "tilt the field" guy.
