Whereas we at RB have one healthy guy who came off the PS. He might be great someday but for now he's a special teams guy being forced into the role. Our greatest hope is Beast and his backup.
And apparently Turbin has sailed through but there's still a delay with Marshawn (the one signing that'd cheer me up even as it is likely futile). PC/JS shouldn't have blown the horn saying he had a great chance to be hired if there was going to be a weed question. Which there should have been given that ML's been publicly seen lighting blunts off the torch at Raiders Stadium.

After playing with the ESPN calculator, I think this is the best result as getting 1 or 2 seed is a longshot. Other options are playing the viks or packers in the wild card round. I would much rather play the eagles.

I still think it has merit, particularly with the Vikings loss, and our home and away record.
And, part of my original rationale was the GB/Vikings game was 50/50, and with our injuries, I'm guessing (but not hoping) that our chances with the 49ers were like 20 or 30% - so despite the hoping, I don't think we were really ever playing for the #2 seed after the loss to the cards.
The real question in it I guess is the same as one of the original responders to the post: WHO would we potentially get back with a week of additional rest?

Right up until we get 2 or 3 more injuries because of the stress on other non-injured starters - and are done for the season.
I truly hope I'm wrong.

And no, Seattle's record this year doesn't invalidate the sweeping overall statistical advantage of a home game. They drew a #1 and #2 seed at home this year, then a division rival that always plays us well. Home games matter.
For once I agree with John..The.Idea is totally wack.John63":2npgw33m said:The idea that we would want to throw a game is ridiculous.
