Whichever player has a pencil beard, sleeve tattoos and an over size gold plated Jesus piece. That guy is getting cut. Most over hyped will be whoever is a scrappy under sized white guy.

I can't believe this many people misinterpreted the question. At any rate, I'll go with Walter Thurmond III.

Cut Jaye Howard, the underperformer. He will look decent in camp, show some potential, but then get cut, only to be picked up by the Jags

It's a tie.

Christine Michael and Ty Powell. I've heard good things about both of these kids.

Surprise cut: Mebane

Camp stud: Jesse Williams

Hahaha. Our #1 DT cut. I want whatever your taking. It must be a great trip.

Since we are making baseless assumptions.. why not speculate about the guy who is the oldest and has the 2nd largest salary.. I would think both Hill and Williams would have to absolutely shine for this to happen.. but Wilson did win the QB spot last season..

I love Mebane.. bought my daughter his Jersey.. but he is due 5M this season and letting him go results in 5M of cap space immediately.. all of his guaranteed $$$ has been paid up already

I am making this assumption on the fact that we should extend Earl, Tate or Browner before the season gets started too.. most likely Earl.. we gotta pay Sherm, Okung, and RW in the next two years..

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4367/brandon-mebane

Sidney Rice WR 8,500,000 1,200,000 - (3,600,000) 9,700,000
Russell Okung T 7,060,000 280,000 - (14,100,000) 9,540,000
Marshawn Lynch RB 7,000,000 1,500,000 - (11,500,000) 8,500,000
Red Bryant DE 6,600,000 1,000,000 - (10,600,000) 7,600,000
Max Unger C 4,900,000 1,100,000 - (7,900,000) 6,000,000
Brandon Mebane DT 5,000,000 200,000 - (600,000) 5,200,000

I dont know where you got second largest salary from.

Hes one of the most underrated DT's in the game and doesnt even break the top 10 for cap hits in his position

1 Haloti Ngata at Defensive Tackle $11,500,000
2 Gerald McCoy at Defensive Tackle $10,916,250
3 Vince Wilfork at Defensive Tackle $10,600,000
4 Ndamukong Suh at Defensive Tackle $10,492,500
5 Randy Starks at Defensive Tackle $8,450,000franchise tag
6 Henry Melton at Defensive Tackle $8,450,000franchise tag
7 Darnell Dockett at Defensive Tackle $7,700,000
8 Paul Soliai at Defensive Tackle $7,375,000
9 B.J. Raji at Defensive Tackle $6,595,000
10 Barry Cofield at Defensive Tackle $6,300,000

Im all for going younger. But just like you dont remove a franchise QB, you dont remove a dominant run-stopping DT until his time is up.

You want cap space. Then Im sorry to say, its got to be Rice. Least production to value ratio. I love him, but he shouldnt be the highest paid player on the team.

Bust- Gotta be Brady Quinn. Way too much money for the tools!
Rookie Bust- Ware. In a Running back corps as deep as this, he will be the weakest link.
Rookie Superstar- Michael. Everything I have seen from this kid has been stellar. Love me some Turbin, but this kid may just leapfrog him in the rotation.

If you have been watching the streams, you will see thats the opposite. Quinn is not doing well at all. Tjack is looking very impressive.
