Practice Squad changes tweet

Eric Williams @eric_d_williams The #Seahawks added WR Tyrone Walker to the practice squad, and released DE Ty Powell. Walker went to training camp with the #Packers.

Seattle also held tryouts for DT Kyle Love and WRs Martel Moore, Sammie Stroughter and Lamaar Thomas before signing Walker. Moore and Thomas are two UDFA receivers that made some waves in camp and preseason, and Stroughter is a veteran receiver formerly of the Bucs.

JS seems to churn the PS to get a look at as many candidates as possible. The effective result is to increase the number of players available for the PS by the number of changes. While the hard number remains 8 players at any point in time the effective number of Seahawks PS players is greater than that per week as the season rolls along.
