Macdonald has said he wants/plans to have a physical football team. So we need better run blocking interior o-lineman...and Troy Fautanu is not that guy. JPJ is that dude! Or trade down for Barton, if we want o-line.

If the draft played out this way, and we took an OL. I’d throw my tv out the window. Now Id be super surprised to see Bowers drop to 16, but imagine Bowers with our current WR and RB. Our O would be lethal.

We called it lethal when we picked up a RB and a WR last year.. t'wasn't, so I call BS.

Bowers imo is the best player in this draft. A dominant TE can make a huge differenc
First, I want an OC that will utilize the TE position. Bowers would be great! I would just pray for better play calling.

You're gonna' get better play calling from Grubb. More creative and a lot of movement that makes defenses more confused.
I think Waldron if allowed to be off leash had a decent plan also, it will be interesting to see how different we look without a leash from Pete on a coordinator.

As much as i like Power-Johnson I am expecting a trade back to acquire an extra 2nd or 3rd rd pick. I do agree about Fautanu, the only thing I don’t like about Barton is his 40 time is pretty slow even for an OL( 5.4 fourty). I do have confidence in Grubb in selecting OL for his system

Bowers is a good player but hardly the best player in the draft, TE is not highly valuable position for most NFL teams

i could see him in a Travis Kelce type role where he is listed as a TE but more of a big WR would do best with an innovative coach.
