Ok, based on another thread, it got me thinking. If I were inducting the top 5 candidates into the Seahawks Personality Hall of Fame, who would I put? Here's a controversial list to get us started:

1. Matt Hasselbeck
2. Marshawn Lynch
3. The Boz
4. Richard Sherman
5. Michael Bennett

Go ahead, try to do better. I dare you.

I was certainly thinking players.

But it's hard to follow Seahawk football without the personalities of announcers like Gross and Raible infecting you. Raibs has been on the air since 1982. That's a lot of catfish!

Hey now, Raible was a Seahawks player, he counts!

I'd add Luke Willson for consideration. Maybe Doug Baldwin as well.

Great start. Marshawn and Bennett are shoo-ins. It's hard to argue with Sherm, and I'd throw Pete's name in for consideration. Mike Rob is also worth discussing. But when I look at my list, I don't like how it's biased toward the LOB years. Without the media saturation we have now, though, it was harder to get a sense of personalities in the 80s and 90s, especially for me because I moved away in the early 90s and got much less media exposure to interviews and the like.

Chad Brown had an excellent personality. I recall a few instances when I went to go see training camp in Cheney. The way Chad would ignore the crowd, grab his cup and spit on the ground, was inspiring. Great personality.

Mack Strong and Lofa Tatupu, also great young men
