Even though he didn't play today, I'm glad we picked a DB with the five pick. That was one of the most abysmal secondary performances I can recall in a very long time. I hope Spoon can do something to turn this late term abortion around.

In defense of the DBS here is what I saw:

They are being coached to play a very soft zone even on third and short way behind the sticks.

No pass rush.

Not enough blitzes up the A gap to disrupt Stafford.

No bump and run against the smaller Rams WRs.

Dime package on third and short when you need to crowd the LoS.

Etc, etc, etc.
