I have not read or heard one peep on Vannett...
Had high hopes for him this season.
Oddly quiet...
Thoughts?

Oh good, everybody in the stadium will be able to guess which direction the play is going to go.

I literally laughed out loud at this. It's so true it's funny
"He (Swoopes) just seems to be making the transition. We are pretty blown away that it has been this quick," coach Pete Carroll said.
"Because he is already blocking people."
Yes, a life-long, former blue-chip quarterback that is 6 feet 4, 254 pounds -- and blocks people.
"We thought that might be a challenge," Carroll said.

Sounds like a great guy, thanks for the link.Jville":1gfxhvzc said:Jerhawk":1gfxhvzc said:HawkGA":1gfxhvzc said:Jville":1gfxhvzc said:Pete Carroll mentioned him in a recent press conference. :177692: A tight end that can block, run routes and catch from multiple positions makes an offense far less predictable. They instill uncertainty in an opponent and create play calling opportunities. That was the huge value of Zack Miller.
Pete Carroll is focused on blocking upgrades. Rookie conversion project Tyrone Swoops also had a big catch today. But, improvement in his blocking is what has Carroll optimistic about Swoops chances of making the roster. Blocking upgrades and getting the run game rolling is job one in 2017.

Oh, great. Just what we need - MORE bitching about Bevell not throwing to Graham.
