LB Mike Taylor signed to the Practice Squad

LB Mike Taylor, another former Wisconsin Badger, was signed to the practice squad. I watched Mike Taylor play through his career at Wisconsin and he was great. He had some injuries during draft time that may have hurt his prospects a bit. He could be a good addition to the team if we need him due to injuries.

He's on the practice squad. It isn't really a developmental program, though players can emerge from there.

PC&JS must have seen something in him. I'd be interested in knowing who they let go to make a spot for him (except I don't care enough to actually click a link).

But heck, it's only the practice squad. It's not like they got rid of Michael Bennett in order to keep an extra kicker or something.

The Seahawks worked out Taylor earlier this season and had a practice-squad spot open when guard Ryan Seymour signed onto San Francisco’s active roster.

Read another piece that was on MSN home page as a lnk saying this guy is a beast, had two sports hernia injuries, this may be another diamond in the rough player. I'm sure Wilson knows him.

I'm sure Wilson does know him...probably put in a good word. Along those lines, watch out for the Seahawks to draft Jared Abbrederis next year. Wilson and he had great chemistry at Wisconsin and he may be a steal in the draft (Wisconsin is a run first offense, so his numbers aren't gaudy, but he is a damn good receiver).
