Just being a starter from week one should narrow the field a little.

Even some of the legends didn't begin as starters from week 1 through 6.

Who ya got?

Galloway probably? DJax got off to a good start as well. If we're looking past wideouts, Hutch was a stud pretty much from Day 1, and then Lofa was a phenomenal leader as a rook.

Been a while for sure in regards to skill position players.

EDIT: Oh yeah, Russ.

Lofa was amazing. Just amazing.

Leroy Hill was pretty great, too. Both 2005 rooks, no?

Forgot about the punter. Do kickers count?

Yeah, I remember having to eat a lot of crow after absolutely eviscerating Ruskell immediately following the draft that year. After Chris Spencer, it felt like we made one enormous reach after another.

This was a really good game for Metcalf. His completion percentage was running under 50% going into this game. But with today's 4 receptions out of 5 targets he has moved above the 50% mark for the season. Suggests more good things to come.

No joke it was odd how Lofa's career kind of went backwards. He was a Pro Bowl caliber player as a rookie and kind of slid after peaking in year 2 or 3

They traded up for Lofa and got blasted for it. I was on this site (under a different username) and a lot of people wanted DD Lewis to get the MLB job

But mainly Russ, he took commend from day 1 against all kinds of adversities, from national media to Angry thinking TJack was better. Russ's desire to succeed must be burning at temp that melts rocks.
