Batting Practice. That was a blast. I'm sure the Deb's hated it. But they'll be back to pounce the next the M's lose.
Because, clearly after 5 games, the season is over.
Can almost predict what the Debs will say now. Like, "That was a totally flukey win only because the Angels had a rare off day, but I bet the Ms will now lose 20 straight due to arrogance and overconfidence!!!!"

Yup. Some people just are not happy unless they are mad/depressed. I do enjoy enjoy a good laugh though.
Philly was sitting at 0-4 yesterday, Houston is 2-4, they should also pack it in.
Someone is enjoying a win, I must put a stop to it!!!!!

Nice way to break out of a losing streak. Yes, Castillo is an ace. That's what aces do, they stop losing streaks. So glad he's pitching for us.

As to the DH, I actually like how they are rotating the position. Having a dedicated DH usually means another old guy who can't play the field on the roster and can only really do one thing. Better to use it as a rest day for the active players and it also means you can keep another utility/backup guy for things like pinch running and such.

I think I actually heard the ball screaming that Hernandez hit for his 2nd home run. That ball was absolutely destroyed.

Would love to see another Mariner win a Cy
We have a couple of guys who might be eligible, maybe not this year, but some day. Castillo is probably always on the possible list, but the young kids could be there soon.

Very tough to beat Ohtani. For any team really. But you never know.

man i really would have preferred if they didn’t use Brash last night and let him start with Flexen coming in out of the pen.

I wish washed Marco was gone so we could have one of the
upcoming kids pitching in the 5th spot.
i love Flex being in the 5 as it should be and hopefully Rays
injury heals up well.

Exactly.

Def. making Ohtani work. He's damn good, but he can be beaten.
Bases Juiced, pitch count way up. He's def. not as dominant today. Umpire helping him out all the sudden.

Too many men left on base. He’s effectively wild and some of the M’s hitters have had awful approaches against him.
