Quinn was thinking what anyone who watches football was thinking. He knew that his team has a garbage defense and that punting = loss of game after the Chargers marched right down on them and scored. He had to go for it.

If you can't get a yard of offense against the Chargers D at home in a must-win situation, you deserve to lose. To start OT, Quinn should have dialed up four straight Hail Marys to Julio Jones and then begged for a PI call on one of them, which seems like the best offensive play they have in the playbook.
