Agreed Brian Schottenheimer was probably sticking up for our players and that’s why he got canned, we were a much better offense under Schottenheimer

Agreed Brian Schottenheimer was probably sticking up for our players and that’s why he got canned, we were a much better offense under Schottenheimer

Eh. He didn't do much for Trevor Lawrence calling plays down in Jacksonville once he got the reigns.

Schottenheimer's offense (or, the one he kind of had to run to acquiesce his quarterback and still keep chains moving) got spectacularly figured out in the second half of 2020. He needed answers that he didn't have.

Seems weird to say "oh, he was just sticking up for the players!" when the offense wasn't really demolished in 2021 like the logical next step in your narrative would be...
