Fans threw food on Bowmen

Anyone here saying that the popcorn "could have been an accident" is fooling themselves and is a complete moron.

Have you ever been to a Seahawks game? Lol I have had popcorn thrown at me, beer spilled on me, my food stepped on.... and none of that was on purpose. The game was going again by the time he was to the tunnel. Anyone every think the next fumble might have happened right then? How much popcorn went flying in that stadium then!?

And how 5 kernels of popcorn flying out of the stands gets interpreted as food being thrown at Bowmen, is beyond me.

Yes, I've been to plenty games at Century Link, Husky Stadium when Alexander rushed for 266yds, Arrowhead, Lambeau, and the Metrodome twice and countless MLB games. Nice try with your convenient possibilities.

Those are 2 very different actions but the result is the same. Classless and not acceptable behavior for any 12 or human being.

After watching it again, I agree it looks like someone threw popcorn. But it looks like one person threw popcorn. The nation headlines are misleading implying that fans were throwing food at him.

I'm telling you, I was over there talking to relative that I was supposed to meet up with to get field access if the Hawks won. It was during the entire stoppage and everyone there was concerned about Bowman. They were genuinely stunned by the injury and CHEERING him when he was carted off. Yes popcorn was spilled but dang there is fricking popcorn all over the place there.

Look, the Niner fans always have SOMETHING to say to diminish every single good thing the Hawks do, but when a little popcorn falls on Bowman I just see an accident, not a Clink attack on a great player. If that was intentionally done there are a majority of fans that would toast the guy who did it.

I don't see Niner fans owning up to the Lane clothesline.

I saw video last night on Mike and Mike that showed fans threw some popcorn on him right when he was headed for the tunnell. Pretty sickening, but like I say. Every fan base has some fans that the entire fan base doesn't want to be associated with. Nothing more than some drunk, stupid, Seahawk fans. Obviously they are outliers.

I told a number of their ushers they were punks- they didn't do anything, because punks are pussies. After watching us get $$$$g raped by $$$$$calls and obviously paid refs, I just couldn't stand it anymore. Every single person I passed as I left had to rub that $$$$$ gift win in. I told every single person I passed that they were s**t and their franchise was $$$$$. We went out, got some food and drink, and came back for a short nap before flying out early the next morning. I upper deckered the $$$$$ toilet in the hotel. I also plugged the sink with a towel and filled it with all the piss I generated from a night of drinking. I also wiped my ass with the bible.

At the airport, I had a real hard time controlling myself, but couldn't say $$$ because I don't want to end up on some $$$$ no fly list.

I $$$$ all over their town, I wasted hundreds of dollars of $$$$ beer, and I $$$ my wife at halftime in their stadium. Some consolation, I guess, for getting raped by the refs.

Now that that's over, go Broncos. Maybe they can teach that Dick Sherman some $$$$ class and humility.

Holy crap, what an insufferable punk. Every Niners fan around me was loud and obnoxious, except for the old timers (they're the ones without the #7 jersey on). Funny how the loudest ones were gone so fast after the beautiful tip by Sherman.

Thanks for all the wonderful posts regarding Bowman. It's unfair for the fans of Seattle to be labeled because of the act of one bonehead. The media has a knack for twisting things but any fan in the NFL knows better than to fall for that media garbage. I really hope Bowman bounces back from this. One of the great players at his position in this league.

The pain has subsided somewhat after the loss. I don't know what was said on the field between Crabs and Sherman, I just wished Sherman would have handled it a bit different after the game. It's unfortunate that what seems to get more media attention is the trash talk more than the great plays. When players do this, it feeds in what the media wants. A soap opera with the game as a backdrop.
