You and me both. How about we shelf the Percy question until he's no longer a Seahawk, fair?

What does Percival have to do with all of this either?

I posited the possibility that when all is said and done Hàrvin may eclipse Largent as the greatest Seahawk WR ever.

Not to sound blasphemous, but what in the hell does Steve Largent got to do with any of this? No one said either of these guys are the next Largent.
I said it as how you do baseball player comps you compare players with similar skillsets to guess what is pretty likely, not directly comparing because that's impossible and not useful. Yes, baseball is my first love and football is finally starting to use similar sabermetric methods and is a reason why the Seahawks confuse the pundits and win just like the Oakland A's.

I suppose you're right, Roland... I did make a rather "LAME" argument but sorry to disappoint you but I cannot predict the future...

However, if you promise you won't S***-A-Brick, I could possibly "project" Baldwin's future correlative to Tate's 2013 year.

GT '13: 15S/16G, 64C, 898Y, 14.0 YPC, 5 TDs

Per KFFL, Tate received 114 targets in 2013.

Baldwin with 114 targets off his 2013 numbers:

82 Catches, 1273 Yards, 7 TDs

But before you cry about how projection stats are still lame because they don't support your argument, I will normalize Baldwin's numbers because he did have epic efficiency in 2013.

So taking his averages of catching% and ypc in his 3 years of work.

His 2013 catch% went from 71.6 to 62.3

His 2013 ypc goes from 15.6 to 14.6

I kept his 2013 TD% the same at 8%... TDs... it seems fair.

With those numbers off of 114 targets.

DB Y4: 71 catches, 1034 Yards, 5-6 TDs
GT Y4: 64 catches, 898 Yards, 5 TDs

Still better. Baldwin ranked 2nd in DVOA in 2013, right? And you're pretty much Captain DVOA around here.
