I wasn't able to hit up .net last night after the game as I was helping my kiddo prep for a speech. On the way to work this morning I wondered if we would have an Irvin thread.
I was struck by how around the ball he was for the most part. I kept finding myself wondering, as another poster earlier commented, who it was that was flying around on d out there, and I would then realize it was Bruce. Guy sure looks to my untrained eye like he is starting to get it and that is pretty great as that guys athleticism will ensure he becomes one of the best in his business. Granted it's a bit early to throw a party over it but the few times I noticed him in coverage last night he was right in the receivers pocket. He made some solid tackles, and is showing improvement running through crowds.
A pick by him would be fun to watch for sure.
