Good stuff, but I'd take Kam Chancellor over Tyrann Matheiu any day.

CB: Richard Sherman, Seahawks, 2011

5th round, 154th overall, 34th DB. Converted from wide receiver at Stanford and, to put it mildly, picked things up quickly. The ideal size, skill set and temperament for the position, he started blanketing receivers and picking off passes immediately for the Legion of Boom.
In a great draft for corners (Patrick Peterson and Jimmy Smith were first-rounders), he tops the list.

Also: Josh Norman, Panthers, 2012, 5th round, 143rd overall, 24th DB; Ike Taylor, Steelers, 2003, 4th round, 125th overall, 26th DB

S: Tyrann Mathieu, Cardinals, 2013

3rd round, 69th overall, 17th DB. The red flags accompanying Mathieu after his drug-related departure from LSU give him the edge here over the Seahawks’ Kam Chancellor. Some considered the “Honey Badger” undraftable, but the Cardinals reached out, promised to hold him accountable, got him to promise the same and got a prototypical defensive back.

Also: Kam Chancellor, Seahawks, 2010, 5th round, 133rd overall, 26th DB;
Antoine Bethea, Colts, 2006, 6th round, 207th overall, 40th DB
