Terrible. Never a good feeling when a child has a medical situation like that. Having 3 kids myself, I hope to never experience that as a father nor do I want any of my kids to go through that. I hope his daughter is able to recover.

Not to mention the brain still has plasticity and is mallable at that age. If anything, she's got time on her side. Brain surgeries are big deals though.
