He's 6'3 245 dual threat QB. Some are comparing him to Cam Newton. However, I hope he turns out to be a more accurate passer than Newton was.

As of today I think we are set at QB. I could see our 3rd string QB developing into a starting QB real quick.

so he is 6'3" and 245 lbs? A somewhat skinnier version of Me3 who was over 230 lbs at 5'10"

Ben Rothliesberger was 6'5, 240pds.

Lamar Jackson is a running QB. Everyone considers him top 10 QB in the NFL and he's not a great passer.

Why don't you hope for the guy that's already on the team? A proven dual threat QB that can drop dimes assuming the 3rd string receivers can catch the ball. Why waste a pick when the developmental beast is already on the team?

Pulling for a developmental QB already on the team and creating threads about future potential picks are not mutually exclusive events. One can do both at the same time.

He's 33 and he taken a lot of sacks when he was with the Jets.

Honestly, Jefferson is not a very good prospect. I saw him play several times last year while scouting QB's. He could go undrafted.
