Thanks Jville, you are sharp eyed on your Twitter feeds.

I'm inferring the team has settled with Siliga over his injury and he's now a FA?

Will update on Evans now but don't know for sure what's up with Siliga.

Edit: Have updated all, including adding LS- Tyler Ott.

It's being rumoured that SS- LJ McCray failed his physical and the trade with SF will be voided leaving an open roster slot.

The Times is reporting the trade is voided, so I'll adjust the roster accordingly.

The cap number of $10,457,868 seems like a lot at this point - is that because the season hasn't started yet so only the top 51 players are counted? If so what is our actual cap space?

How much do we need to keep for the season? What can we do with the excess money?

- Extend Bennett and maybe Kam
- Push the cap space in to 2017
- Sign or trade for another player

We don't have any expensive UDFA players for next season now that Baldwin is signed (Hauschka is probably our biggest UDFA for 2017) so we're looking at $30M in cap space with the possibility of lowering that by extending Bennett, Kam, and Avril or cutting Graham ($10M savings) or Webb ($2.75M savings).

We could look at adding a pretty big-time player or two next season with our core locked up and a healthy amount of cap space.

Where are you getting the cap number from? Overthecap has us at about $4.5M.
