    So you are saying that, given the success of the Patriots with all of the roster turn over at skill positions, then QB is no different? The sum is greater than the parts; therefore Brady could be replaced by any QB and the team would maintain success?

    Just for arguments sake, I wonder if the QB is as interchangeable as the rest of the parts seem to be. They plug in new WRs and RBs and they just produce. Maybe any QB running Belichicks scheme would be "elite".

    What would the media take on Brady been if the Hawks score there? Seems that one play could have turned his legacy either way. The media is just slobbering all over him now, but would would they have said "past his prime" or "unable to close out games"?

    Watch the play. Look how close Browner and Butler come to contact. If Kearse flows Browner toward the center of the field with the intention of cutting off the safety we aren't having this convo. We wouldn't be having it if they just gave it to Marshawn either.....

    This. Kearse need to engage the defender far more aggressively to cut off the safeties path to Lockette. Lockette was tentative and unprepared for contact. Even if you don't agree with a called play, you are still expected to execute.

    Yeah, it is true. Sometimes when the 49ers have back-to-back games on the east coast they will stay in Youngstown and practice at Youngstown State University. Next time they do that I'm gonna go there, put on my jersey, hang my 12 flag on the fence and scream like a madman for 2 hours.

    At some point it is the head coaches responsibility to protect a player from himself. This act of machismo by a player, coupled with the head coaches lack of perspective has likely degraded both RG3s future as well as the 'Skins future.

    Detroit Sunday nights game was especially delicious for me, as I hosted an Xmas party which was just filled with Steeler fans whining about missing the playoffs while the Hawks destroyed the 9ers.
