I don't care that they haven't signed anybody good. My big problem is that they continue to seek out offensive lineman who are above average run blockers and atrocious in pass pro. I'm so sick of this philosophy. The fact that they project Webb as a right tackle just shows that they haven't...
The weak holding call on Locklear when it looked like the guy was clearly offside is the one that has always bugged me. We completed a pass to the 1 yard line on that play. Next play was the interception. That was pretty much the difference in the game right there.
The offensive PI on Jackson...
For me this controversy ended when I saw the quotes from the prosecutor.
Maybe she is incompetent, I don't care, but I'm not about to be outraged by Seahawks decision to draft this guy, when a prosecutor in charge of the case doesn't seem to think too much of the incident. Sorry!
Give me a...
I'm very late to this thread. Great post Vetamur, I agree with your thoughts.
I love that you brought up Burley being inactive. I think that is a huge think that gets overlooked, and I would love it if someone asked Carroll about that decision. I don't think much of Burley, but NE had two...
Keith Myers later replied to a tweet saying the other guy is Kevin Williams.
If you sign Guion and bring back Kevin Williams I can honestly see them cutting both McDaniel and Mebane.
I'm of the belief that Rosenhaus (his agent) has been playing up the interest in Hardy from the get go.
A few weeks ago, Shefter and Rapoport were saying there were 6 teams interested in him. This was b.s. and it came from the agent. Teams like the Raiders and Falcons were reportedly...
That is how I feel. And I've also learned that many of the guys who are perceived as 'great' guys are actually pieces of trash. You don't usually know.
I'd be shocked if the Packers have any interest. They have Jordy, Cobb, and promising rookie Davante Adams so Jennings doesn't have a role in GB, plus Jennings had some not so nice things to say about Rodgers after he was traded...
I keep waiting for prices to come down. That is when you'll see Seattle sign someone. I thought we could maybe take a sniff at Derrick Morgan but he got way more than I was expecting. Andre Johnson and Kenny Britt were two guys I thought Seattle could land, but again, the $ is out of whack...
What did Clayton say?
Williams is under contract for 3 more years. I'm assuming it would be very costly for the Bills to release him and I don't think Seattle should trade a high pick for a veteran making over $10 million at any position.
I've got no problem going DE in the 2nd rd, and would be fine if they took the right DE in the 1st. I also would be good if they draft a DT in the early rounds.
