    The only knock on hiring a DC specialized head coach was the continuity with the QB once the offense has success. However, it would be hard to believe an NFL GM/Owner would give Chip another shot as HC.. So, it could be a really nice hire from the perspective as well.

    It's easier for a WR to adjust to an under thrown ball.. it also brings into play pass interference... not something you want to do a lot, but on 4th down it increases the chances of extending the drive.

    I'm pretty sure that the 2 minute warning was going to be reached regardless of going out of bounds too. Could have turned up and if he got pushed out of bounds it wouldn't have been the end of the world. He could have gotten 8-10 yards on 1st down instead of a 4-5.

    Yep. Hope the Falcons fire Quinn. I don't know about Quinn, he sure hasn't done much with that squad on D. The solution is of course improving the pass rush but that costs-a-lotta to get guys who can make a difference and who are healthy and can stay healthy.
