I felt it was going to be a bad night when the no call in the first Quarter happened in the end zone. Obvious contact before the ball got there by a DB that did not even pretend to look for the ball.
Awesome touchdown in the game though. On a broken play the quarterback is almost sacked for a 20 yard loss but manages to escape and throw a touchdown. Maybe the worst offensive output in a game but they were not shut out. :)
Emergency QB backup? The safety from Wisconsin. Multi skilled player who in the clutch may hold the fort down as an extra QB on Game day. If he makes the team as a safety then it would be gravy. Or is it Groovy?
