Oh make no mistake I am no Bevell fan, but to simply blame him for perhaps the worst total team spanking in the Pete Carroll era is just a bit short sighted. We did nothing well in this game. Aim higher!
I would actually like to see that! Wilson has done what he has done behind a turnstile stocked with a veritable "who the hell is that" of OL over that timeframe. Be interested to see how we stack up with the others listed in that respect.
Honestly I am hoping they ease him in. He has proven a valuable tool under not the greatest of circumstance, just the health issue persists, until it no longer does...
I guess the important news about the Seahawks Roster Churn is that is seems to benefit other teams. Ware and Turbin both seem to be doing well at their current spots, time will tell if Michael can work his way back. I suspect we (and everyone else) will continue our search for the next Marshawn.
The Matchups will (hypothetically) be interesting to watch. Sherm vs Dez, Lane vs Beasly, KJ vs Witten etc. Their O -line is what we all wish ours was, but our D-Line I would put up against anybody right now. Our ST is pretty comparable to theirs, with maybe a bit of an edge with Lockett now...
Nobody was wrapping up. Every Bills player was getting by two or three defenders before being tackled. At least it seemed that way. That and Lane getting beaten like a red headed step child.
No Gilliam love in this thread, and he'll get none from me either. I can't be the only one recognizing his regression. It appears to be exhaustion most times, he is getting beat and then just stands there instead of trying to recover. Fant showed me real potential this last game.
You can get frustrated all you want but simply blaming the refs for us losing this game is just missing the mark. Tom Cable has a lot of work to do(!) and I personally think that Gilliam is now about as out of his depth as Sowell ever was! Fant looked better than Gilliam today. And it appears to...
It will be very interesting to see how the Cards fare against their next opponent after the WAR they just had with this Defense. The Seahawk Hangover if you will. And as much as I hated how we played on Offense and on ST I will likely never delete this game from my DVR! Privileged to have...
Kind of hoping that Pete Gives the Defense a rest day and makes the entire Offense run wind sprints until they puke. Honestly counting our blessings right now that no one on the Defense was seriously hurt last night having spent 3/4 of that game on the field trying to undo the mess the Offense...
