Does Bevell stay or does he go? (ALL Bevell talk HERE)

I think if the front office wants him gone, he will be given a chance to resign and save face. PC has already shown he's a good leader like that. There's a couple of reasons I think he has to go aside from the final offensive play. First, he has been inconsistent at best during his three...

Can I defend Pete Carroll for that last decision?

I'm not disagreeing that choosing to pass was necessarily good/bad, but you can't divorce the actual call from the equation. So, while I don't disagree that, in theory, passing on that down isn't defensible (that's probably a double negative, sorry), it's inescapable that THAT passing play was...

Can I defend Pete Carroll for that last decision?

I said it in another thread, and I'll say it here. While many posters are saying Lynch should have run it up the gut, and I don't necessarily disagree, it's a false dichotomy to assume the only options were 1) quick slant to Lockette or 2) Lynch up the gut. What is infuriating about the call...

This is what Wilson saw on the big INT

That's what I don't get. Most people are saying "run Lynch". I get that, and I agree, but it's not like Bevell had the option of this one pass play or running Lynch. RO with a passing option would have given Russ the chance to take the highest probability option, even if that meant tossing it...

    Bevell made that call-CONFIRMED

It's strangely poetic that Pete fell on his sword for Bevell, but Bevell took the opportunity to let Lockette share in the blame. Lockette never should have been put in the position to not get to the ball stronger.

Carroll-Seahawks’ penalties: We’re not going to change

NJ, here's the link to the original content posted on /r/Seahawks on Reddit. I see a lot cross posting, but there's a pretty good discussion going on over there that deserves some attention. It's a good community, too, if any of you are so inclined.

    Did anyone notice that Marshawn.....

I actually believe it when they've said he's had issues getting his back to loosen up. He seems just a little off or tentative with some of his runs. I don't think that's attitude or lack of effort, I think it's a pain issue. Whatever else people can say about his attitude or whatever, I...

All good things must come to an end

Thanks for your efforts on the RT threads, I really enjoyed them and they gave most games a sense of closure for me. Haven't always agreed 100% with your assessments, but getting fresh perspective was good for me. Sorry for the personal shots you had to endure.

I don't uunderstand those so upset about no replay?

I give internet sarcasm lessons for $5. PM for details. On a serious note, I believe people are upset based on the principal of lack of review. At a minimum, the fumble should have been reviewed. I can understand bad or missed calls during plays, when action is going full speed. There was...

    UW AT Hawaii

Everything about this game, except John Ross and maybe that Durkee kid, has been horrible.

Adam Muema apparently done with football

Sort of. What they are expressing at that point is psychosis. "God" is more of a cultural reflection than a religious one, which is where I heading. For some people they are communicating with aliens, the dead, or having "psychic" communication with living breathing people the bipolar person...

Adam Muema apparently done with football

Yeah. I have a couple of bipolar friends and they act very similarly when they are manic. This isn't a religious thing, there is something else very wrong.

    More from Doug Baldwin

I like Dougie and what he brings to the team. His commentary does often remind me of that guy that just watched "Food, Inc" and OMG HOW CAN YOU EAT THAT BECAUSE MONSANTO and all that. He's full of piss and vinegar, and his passion hasn't yet been dampened by the reality of life and the...

Lynch DUI case resolved - Knocked down to Reckless Driving

I agree. No one was hurt, Marshawn has accepted a level of culpability and he has shown he learned from his mistake by altering his behavior for the better. I wish DUIs never happened of course, but this outcome is about as good as one could hope for, all things considered.
