Damn, that sucks. And no it is NOT because the Hawks are stupid etc. He CHOSE to go to a place that's a rival. IF he wanted to be in Seattle, he would come here. We'll never know if they offered him a similar deal.

What the hell, 3 years 41 Million thats way less than expected.
What is our plan???
Here we go again. It automatically means the Hawks are stupid if they don't sign EVERY player. There are SEVERAL factors to signing a free agent.

What about the other 30 teams (other than Seattle and Baltimore)? Are they stupid too

Hey, IF the Hawks offered the same or more, and he still chose Pitts? F him. Not that we will ever actually know.

Wait, we have one of the biggest need at LB and his Coach is now our Headcoach. Also we have Capspace and the contract is lower than expected.
Im only saying this about the missed opportunity on Queen…

Most of us wanted him here. It is still ultimately HIS CHOICE. I'm bummed like anyone else.
Again, did the Hawks offer? And how much did they offer? You don't know, I don't know. We may have offered more than they did.

DeeJay Dallas is signing with the Cards. First Collier, now Dallas? That organization is pilfering us. Where are we going to find an underwhelming kick returner now?
DeeJay Dallas is not a huge loss. The only loss is the PA music won't be able to play "Go DJ" anymore

Dude you must have skipped the memo where we have infinite cap space and will sign every and any player we want because they all want to come here and play for a brand new set up (coaching staff).

Check your spam - or your deleted folder. You have to stop overlooking these vital memos.

I think it was a bit idealistic for many to presume that an NFL star would be so loyal as to follow a coach. Pittsburgh is a better team defensively in a more popular market. A guy who is making deep playoff runs doesn't want to head to a team that has so many unknowns defensively.

That said, the contract was a little low compared to what I was expecting for him.

The Steelers defense is even worse than ours. It's probably just as simple as they were willing to pay him more.
