Isn't our previous OC the Bears QB coach?

Hate to have to switch the scheme, but if someone wants him why not.

Put Cable in as OC.

after reading that I hope Bevell stays,..sounds like he and RW have a very good working relationship, communication, and respect for each other,...

Bevell is an idiot and Bradley is Pete's lapdog.

That is what I learned from reading .NETfor the past 4+months.

Begone with both of them.

Yup Bevell/Bradley get no credit for the success of our young guys but damn near all of the blame when something goes wrong. Its kinda weird because everybody loves our positional coaches: Tom Cable, Ken Norton, Rocky Seto.

I disagree with both of these assessments.

I'd like all of coaches to stay together for at least another year.

If Wilson is comfortable with him, then keep him. I am thoroughly frustrated with his playcalling at times but I am not the Seahawks starting QB either.

With a rookie QB the Seahawks finished in the top 5 in the league in both rushing offense (3rd) and passing efficiency (5th). The Redskins were the only team in the league to finish ranked higher in both of those categories than Seattle (1st/3rd, respectively). That alone makes me hope that we can retain Bevell for at least one more year, with Wilson's endorsement as ratification. That said, if Bevell leaves I would expect Hue Jackson (Bengals) to be at near the top of PC's list to replace him, with Joe Lombardi (Saints) possibly on the radar as well. I don't see PC promoting from within, as Tom Cable's current role(s) as Asst. HC, run-game coordinator and OL coach is ideal for him - and the others don't appear to be OC material at this stage, for various individual reasons.

I doubt that Cable would be willing to work with Hue Jackson again after Hue basically claimed responsibility for the Raiders success when Cable was fired. There were no direct quotes, just thinly veiled innuendos.

Bevell is 2 months older than me and Russell calls him "young."

Just when I thought I couldn't have any more love for the kid...

It's crazy to think that Chicago would get rid of Lovie Smith for this guy.
