Pete hasn't hired well post 2015. Who will Pete hire as his OC and DC? Any name? I am quite sure that Hurtt or Norton won't be on the list, will they?

Well, Waldron is out of work and Hurtt is a position coach in Philly. There was speculation that Pete refused to part with either of them, which is why he lost his job in Seattle. So I think he should get the old band back together.

Those two would be guaranteed failure, I was hoping for Robert Saleh, but he signed with 49ers.

Kris Richard and Gus Bradley are available too. Both were integral parts of building the Seahawk defense in PC's early years coaching the team. For OC - Darrell Bevell still has a NFL job so he could be called again. Tom Cable has ties to the Raiders. As does the previously mentioned Ken Norton.

Bevell, Bradley, and Richard are all employed by NFL teams. Cable are Norton are not, and should not.

Would a Bradley DC, Richard backfield/pass game whatever work for the defense?

Pete has shown that he is capable of self-reflection, and the year off has probably given him the opportunity to look back at his failures over the last few years. Hopefully he has seen how the likes of Sean Desai, Clint Hurtt and Shane Waldron helped to derail things.

So much of success in any endeavor depends on the people around you, and some of that is the luck of the draw. With a fresh start, Pete might be better off, not having to be loyal to pre-existing assistants.

I think at least one will be groomed for the eventual replacement for Pete in 3 yrs. I think it won't be anyone he's had before.

It could happen. But so far all I’ve seen is speculation from various sources about Bev, Russell, and so forth.

Lazy speculation, where some of it may have legs people are throwing the names of previous people he has worked with to generate clicks, remember he moved on from those guys also because they were not getting the job done, next name up Tom Cable and Kris Richard or Ken Norton Jr.

I would love for him to bring with him McVay and Shannahan. Get them out of the NFC
