if USC loses to Penn State that would be an indictment on UW's season.

Teams like Colorado WSU that UW curbstomped losing means nothing.

Stanford beat a pretty decent ACC team today

I really think you have to look at overall record, followed closely by strength of schedule/quality wins. Head to head and conference championships should be used as tie-breakers when those things are equal. Is that not what happened in 2014?
Ok Fender I don't recall that well but why should Ohio State get a extra week off from everyone else? The other teams risked losses and injuries is my point,They don't get that extra week to heal, rest or practice either.I guess I'm the funny duck since I have not seen many share this viewpoint.I better stop because this thread is for our game, the one nobody seems to think we can win but I BELIEVE- GO DAWGS!!!

I really haven't looked into whether or not having that extra week off is really all that beneficial, but if it is it's definitely a legitimate question.

There goes UW's marquee win, getting blasted by Oklahoma State.

Like I said:

UW 10 ... Alabama 52

I stand by that score. It will be over by halftime, with Alabama up 35 zip
no. I don't think UW will win, but this is just ridiculous

lol I know...and you see them everywhere. Why would (one of) the best team(s) Alabama's played all year be totally dominated? If I had to put money on these CFB playoff games, I don't think I would ever bet on a blowout. They are considered the top 4 teams in the country for a reason.

Glad to see Michigan lost tonight. Good game but still a loss for the Big 10.

Harbaugh using time outs during Florida State kneeldowns in the closing seconds. Douche move, but unsurprising from him.

""A bowl game in Chicago? Seriously? Sites are pre-seasoned and rotated, except that higher seeds do get to pay closer to home. If UW hadn't lost to USC, they'd be playing on their side of the country.""

Bottom line, Alabama players and their fans can drive to the bowl game being played in their part of the country & the Huskies have to fly In. My only point is that Alabama is king of the mountain AND they get to play nearly a home game and that's a bit unfair.
:smilingalien:

Game location was set years in advance. If UW didnt want to go to Atlanta they shouldnt have lost to USC. Then they'd be playing in Phoenix instead.
I hate to agree with J, but I do on this point.

GO DAWGS!

I am thinking this was a poor year in the pac 12 as well. I will give the coach the benefit of the doubt and prey that the Huskies have a punchers chance in the game against Alabama. Always liked the cinder ell story and what a story that would be. Good luck Huskies....

If the Huskies are to give them a run for their money they are going to need to make a few big plays on offense. Maybe Ross can make a couple of those big plays.

Long, sustained drives vs. that defense isn't going to happen.

Alabama beat up on the weak SEC teams this year, so maybe they may be over confident.

Any word on what the fan ratio is?

Gotta imagine like 80% Alabama fans but hard to tell on TV
