Seriously. If I were Ben Johnson, I'd run it over and over again until the Hawks stop it. Jamaal Williams is no slouch, he's also the type of runner that gets better as a game goes on and he gets more touches.

DET is pretty banged up on offense.

Not just their #1 WR & RB.

Their #2 & #3 WRs are going to play but they are pretty banged up as well.

Their starting LG is out.

And their Kicker too.


I thought DET would blow the Seahawks out earlier in the week. These injuries have definietly leveled the playing field. I expect a close game now.

DET isn't good on defense, so Geno and the running game should look like it did against ATL. Seattle just has to show some semblance of a running defense, and then force Goff into a mistake or two.

Is this the only thread about today's game? So be it.

I think this is going to be an exciting game to watch with a potential for lots of offense; Goff is making lots of plays and the Lions are playing above their talent level.

And we have Tyler and DK; and if they get a lot of targets we should win.

I'm betting that he Seahawks defence is slightly less horrible than Detroit's defence.

Giving up 45 points to a team missing their best RB and top two WRs is only marginally less embarrassing. Glad I was wrong about the final score though.
