Who do we take? Will we finish bad enough to get Ward. No one else I see worth taking early. Maybe take a flyer on Rourke or take a chance Gabriel can get over his height disadvantage as a mid to late round pick?

As electric as Ward can be, I get this feeling that he'd end up looking like Geno most games. Holds onto the ball too long looking for the deep ball, ends up taking sacks, or worse turning the ball over. They'd be getting WSU Ward, and not Miami Ward, with the way the OL has looked for the last decade.

Rourke & Dart intrigue me, but can they translate to the NFL level? Not sure. Not a very good QB class coming up. 😕

I still think, offensive line, is the utmost priority this 2025 draft….

Geno, is not a superstar by any means but even Patrick Mahomes and the GOAT Tom Brady couldn’t operate behind this wet toilet paper soft offensive line….

It don’t matter who you put under Center. This team needs to fix the offensive line…..yesterday, last month, last year, 6 seasons ago, and of course, April 2025 and September 2025….

The offensive line is a complete and total train wreck of professional football unit….

It’s not going to get better if Seattle consistently ranks at the bottom for worst offensive line….it doesn’t matter who the QB is if Seattle maintains this offensive line.

I agree our OL has been trash for years. My issue is we keep JS around and his scouts,
And they suck at evaluating OL talent. So even if they use every pick on OL, what are the odds any of them are upgrades and odds any make it too a second contract for Seattle?

If a franchise guy is there and you feel strongly about it you take him. If not you try to build up the line.

O-line is where are real FA money should be spent. It also couldn't hurt to draft a QB every once in awhile who's either got the physical skills to train up, or a QB who at least proved themselves at the college level and has strong intangibles, even though such things may be under appreciated. You can't count on getting into the top 5 to get one, and even then you could be wrong.

Not really correct, our O line talent has a habit of moving on and doing well, where you may be correct is that talent fitting the systems we are trying to use. Also we have a knack for getting guys to fill the injury roster a lot before they make themselves available to compete on the 53 so are behind out of the gate.

Team has always needed a QB. Geno was never the long term answer. HOWEVER, a new rookie QB with this current line will be destroyed. Look at Luck, his talent only got him so far behind a swiss cheese line and he had to retire.

What is the deal with Haynes?? Can he really be as bad as Bradford, seeming like a waste of a high pick?

He’s not strong enough yet, could still be good but not ready

Draft OL, sign Budda Baker, let Geno walk, roll with Howell.

Agree draft OL in 1st round. I haven't seen enough of Howell to say whether we should let Geno walk or keep him for 2025, but don't think we should extend Geno. Maybe draft a rough diamond of a QB on day 2 or 3 as a potential starter in 2026.

When it comes to QB's in the draft, I never have a clue. So I don't even pretend to know. Saw this mock draft from Tony Pauline, he has us taking a QB in the 1st at pick 20. Think it's the first time I've seen a QB mocked to us in the 1st.

20- Seattle Seahawks

Jalen Milroe/QB/Alabama: The Seahawks will eventually have to address the quarterback position, and with the
franchise's history of developing the position, this can turn out to be an all-time great pick.

I say if we're going QB -- go all out. Both Shadeur and Cam Ward look like legitimate NFL talent. Shadeur is one of the better guys that sets his feet and throws to a spot, he's also incredibly elusive. You're going to have to massively overpay with both NYG and LV needing QBs so it probably doesn't happen.

Otherwise, you keep Geno and draft oline. Milroe and Ewers are just not going to make it in the NFL -- Ewers throwing motion is just begging for failure. Milroe is a pretty exceptional athlete but he's marginal (NFL level) at best in the pocket.

Milroe is a terrible QB and likely a garbage human being. He also can't read defenses.

I would rather literally ANY QB in the draft or available as a UDFA instead of him. He would destroy this team

(The people I know in Bama shared he's also one of the biggest reasons Saban retired. When Saban goes to a Michigan or LSU, it will be clear that Saban wasn't as frustrated w CFB as with some of the kids on his roster)

Our OL powered multiple probowls for Russell Wilson and Geno Smith. Next season Sam Howell will enjoy playing behind the Schneider line.

I don't know about the garbage human being but he's a dreadful QB.

Cam Ward is my early favorite. Loved him at Wazzu.
