Russ sighting

They just showed Russ warming up in Atlanta but they said he may not start.

I haven’t been keeping up, anyone know the details?

Sorry bro. Not sure. He has been having issues over the past 3 weeks with a strain on one of his legs. That held him back on one of the preseason games. A friend is a Pissburgh fan and another is a Denver fan. She was happy to get rid of Russ and drop him in the Stealers lap. LMAO.

It's the same calf issue Wilson had in the preseason. He injured himself pushing a sled for a conditioning test and was out of practices for a while. He started feeling the effects of the injury again in a practice about a week and a half ago. Wilson was listed as being a limited participant in practices on the Stealers' injury reports this week.

He came out to warm up in uniform his being inactive was a last minute decision. If I were him I’d stay on the sideline as I am to root on my team as well.

I think the new rule allows them to activate him as an emergency QB?

That’s true. I forgot that a QB can come off inactive as an emergency. Although one has to assume that as the baked starter if he could play he’d be active but who knows what they are doing

Yeah, I forgot about that aspect.
Just thought it was weird being inactive & in uniform on the bench but it really isn't with that explanation.
