I don't care who does it. Just do it.
Some people want certain players to fail. Just odd. But, cool.

He deserved it. But good point.Reminds me of the way some of you guys bashed the ever loving crap out of GeNO all season.![]()
He deserved it.
But good point.
Another gritty game. Brash gives up a run, but held on enough for Muny to save it.
Arozarena continues to cook.
Go for the series win tomorrow.
I like Julio and want him to do well. He just doesn't. Is he the most overrated player in baseball? I can probably make a very good case for it.
Too many coaches trying to help him hit I think for sure. For me, I think Julio's biggest problem is mechanical. I have no idea what it is, but the way the ball comes off his bat is not normal. I know he hits 100+ mph shots, but the spin is just not normal. I am just shocked with all the hitting specialists we have they haven't fixed it. Yes he chases a lot of bad pitches, I get that, but it is more of the reaction of the ball off the bat that confuses me. Crazy thing is he even has his own hitting coach on top of Edgar and Seitzer.
That is what i thought last year when they showed the M's pitching coach with him at BP last season next to Edgar and his own coach. I thought his head must be spinning.Too many coaches trying to help him hit I think for sure.
Perfectly said, and summed up exactly the way most of us “Julio Haters” feel. We’re actually not rooting against him but just disappointed in what he seems to have become, very average. The most disappointing and troubling thing about Julio, to me, is that his hitting stats have declined each and every year, and that trend is continuing yet again this year. His BA, OBP, SLG, OPS, OPS+, etc keep getting worse each season. His best year was his rookie year and he's just gotten progressively worse each season since.
We're over half way through this season and at this point he's basically a league average hitter. His BA is 10 points above league average, but his OBP and OPS are both slightly below league average, and his SLG is exactly league average.
Now, there's still plenty of time for Julio to turn things around this year, and I'm rooting as hard as anyone for that to happen, but yeah. For a guy that was once touted as the leagues next young star, it's been pretty disappointing watching his slow, steady decline from an all star level player into being basically just a league average hitter that's a good defensive CF.
Especially when you juxtapose his struggles with Cal Raleigh’s growthThe most disappointing and troubling thing about Julio, to me, is that his hitting stats have declined each and every year, and that trend is continuing yet again this year. Man I hate to say it but I feel like Julio’s struggles are from his baseball IQ. I wish he would wait for his pitches more and stick to the plan, if he has a plan, but he seems to be guessing more often than not and that’s why he can’t lay off a slider to save his lifePerfectly said, and summed up exactly the way most of us “Julio Haters” feel. How long should we wait for him to become consistently good?

He's definitely declined every year & this year he's so off that they have him swinging at the first pitch every time, just to avoid the eventual strikeout. The most disappointing and troubling thing about Julio, to me, is that his hitting stats have declined each and every year, and that trend is continuing yet again this year.
