No doubt. Everything sucks. All of the things.

Also, don't forget that you going to the stadium means that you are "satisfied with mediocre"

Aaaaah, the classics.

in the last 25 years we've definitely been worse. mediocre is a step up in some cases.

KC has the 3rd worst record in baseball since early May. Sure would be nice if the M's could take care of business and take 3 of 4 in this series.

Polanco, I don't know. It's not like he bounced back, really. Batting .230 the last 30 days, and probably not 100% speed on the bases. I don't see M's trading for a DH or 1st base anymore. If Solano is first base, and Raley is OF that leaves Canzone no where to go. You would have to play him as DH. Unless they want Polanco and D-mo in the line up most days. Young and Williamson are most likely staying 3rd and 2nd base. If they do trade for a first baseman like Naylor then you could have Solano and Canzone DH.
Believe it or not everyone besides Polanco, D-mo, and Young are hitting right now. I like what I've seen from Young but he's hitting .190 at Tmobile.

For funsies i'll post what I want to happen:
Trade Young, Ford/Hancock to TOR for Bichette or to BAL for O'Hearn. They would have to give up at least 2 players for one of those dudes. TOR already has a catcher so for them it would be Young and Hancock.
I'd rather have them do that instead of going after a first baseman/DH.

Ouch! That is a lot for a rental that will never re-sign here. Especially since we are only i the wildcard hunt along with a bunch of teams. I love going for it but you have to at least look like you have the chance of winning it in order to give up your top prospects. I mean trading guys like Peete or Evans or Walter Ford I can see at this point but I don't feel the day to trade the others. Now if Miller had value I would deal him in a second but I think last offseason was the time for that. Celesten might be one top 5 prospect I would trade only because he seems to get hurt a lot and at some point you are going to have to choose between him and Emerson. I love Emerson.

Based loaded, no outs, Cal at the plate.

Something had better happen here.
