Cautiously optimistic about our D with Roy and the new ILB. Would love to see the Bills sent back to NY with a L.

"Robertson-Harris played a total of 27 snaps, accounting for 37% of Mike Macdonald’s defensive snaps. Dre’Mont Jones, Leonard Williams, Jarran Reed, and Byron Murphy II all out-snapped Robertson-Harris on Sunday. The Seahawks are understandably easing the nine-year pro into their defensive rotation.

Pro Football Focus credited Robertson-Harris with a 68.2 overall defensive grade, his highest of the season. He recorded one pressure (seen above) and scored a 60.6 pass-rushing grade."

Kind of glad they'e not waiting for the offseason to upgrade the team. Looks like they really are in "win now" mode.

Why not, right? Sure, drafts are nice to get a some new players into the mix, but I’ve never quite understood not trying to “win now.”
Can you imagine if ol’ Coach Pete’s book was titled “Win Later” 😂

Roy's primary job will be to play the 5-tech and set the edge on running downs, something he did very well against Atlanta. I doubt he will be on the field much for passing downs.

Should help significantly if he can plug some holes and wrap up. Run-D has been atrocious.

Funny you mention that. When they showed him on the sidelines, I said "sounds like a Law Firm"
Southern lawyers that I worked with, most of their names started with an initial and ended with a number, like:

S. Fish Hawk VI, esq.

Mr. Hawk to staff and clients, Fish to friends or big paycheck clients. I must confess that I hated all of them lol. Established southern families have multiple generations with the same first name, so being a VI, there could be 5 other Soul Hawks.
