If we win out and the Rams only drop the one game (this Thursday), we would be tied, with the same head to head and conference wins/losses. Does it fall to strength of schedule at that point?

If we win out and the Rams only lose us, we win the division by 1 game. Our records are currently identical.
You got it right.
But if we somehow end up tied with record (again) with the Rams the Rams will win (again). They have several tiebreakers in hand compared to what we have. All the more reason to hate the Niners.

If we end up winning Thursday and still tied we have to lose a game and between the panthers and Niners it’s more likely to be the Niners and that means they could be NFC West champs. We CANNOT let that happen

Both the Seahawks and Rams control their own destiny. if either team goes 3-0, they win the NFC West and the #1 seed.

SF needs Seattle to beat the Rams to control destiny to win the NFC West. if that happens, SF can win the NFC West by going 3-0 (including beating Seattle in week 18).

The Seahawks clinch a playoff berth this week with a win OR a Lions loss. but we need the #1 seed and the bye - that is everything.

I think if the Hawks beat the Rams, they also must beat the Niners as well. If not and the Rams catch them, the Rams will have a better divisional record.

IMO the only thing to think about is winning out.

We should beat the panthers if we are a contender

We should beat the 9ers if we are a contender.

The last time we played LA Sam threw 4 picks and we had a chance at a walk off FG.

Nothing else is worth your brain cells.

Win out and we are the #1 seed.

If Seahawks and Bears win out, do Seahawks get tie break?

Right now we have a game on the Bears. If we end up tied at the end of the season I’d assume it would depend on how we get to that tie.

Where did you get this from? Sea and Ram are tied in their common games. There's 12 of them: 4 div, 4 conf that are non div, and 4 non conf. I have records of 8-2 for both teams
Asked ChatGPT. If it’s wrong, I won’t be shocked.

Here is spreadsheet I made a couple weeks ago to figure out common games and keep track of tiebrakers. Calculating is at the right. Enter scores and TDs for new games. Then copy formula for Diff(erence) & W/L/T to new games. The chart at left will update.

Its in Office Document format but should open fine in Xcel.

Bottom line is the Lambs hold several tie breakers on us if they can tie things up. We need to keep winning. No let downs. 10 days rest and a long flight back east. Go beat the kitties.
