Do the Hawks break the spell and move to 4-2 tonight on national television or not?

Still gotta' lace em up. After the Hawks win tonight (yes, I believe they have a very good shot) I would like to think people won't downplay it.......

We are the underdogs but it's not a large margin (+3.5 points). I'd put our chances at 40% and expect it to be a one score game in the 4th quarter.

Optimists can look at 40% and feel good about our chances. Those are excellent odds if you look at it similar to a high upside outcome like winning the lottery.

Pessimists can look at 40% and be extremely alarmed. If those were your odds of getting hit by a bus this afternoon you'd feel terrible about it.

What I want and what’s likely are presumably two different things.

While I would never bet against our team or hope for a loss/losing season (like tanking for draft positioning), I think we lose this game.

I’ll have my Spoon jersey on while stuffing my face with chicken wings saying “F the Niners” the whole damn game though.

MacD doesn't strike me as the type of coach who likes to continue to say we need to be better and not actually be any better. I say he finds a way to get this team right tonight and back into the W column.

Agreed. Here's hoping.

Been reading lots of 'it's on me' and 'we're gonna get better' stuff in the last 2 weeks.

Hope it's not just hot air - accountability isn't just for breakfast anymore......

Love the optimism, but I voted "ugh". If there were a "Seahawks get rolled by double digits" option, I'd have chosen that.

And yes, I'm hoping this ages badly.

If the Seahawks lose I will drink bleach out of a red solo cup and upload a video of me doing it.

Just for reference, this is a parody post of the guy who posted on Twitter that he'd eat dog shit out of a red solo cup if Florida State lost to Boston College. I'm not really going to kill myself if we lose. I'll probably just break a few dishes and scream obscenities at my girlfriend.

Absolutely. It time to begin showing glimpses that he's an NFL coach who takes his words seriously rather than just as something to satisfy the media moments.
