He should have been in the HOF long ago. Bart Giamati had a hard on for him and would not have it. He should be honored for what he did as a player on the field. There have been a lot worse players in the HOF.

He was 83, not sure why I thought he was considerably younger than that.
I find it ironic that a lot in sports wouldn't say shit about him or stand up while he was alive... but now he's passed its "RIP, Such a legend" etc etc

I get it, he gambled on baseball while he was in the league as a manager.
It’s against the rules absolutely but it didn’t have any impact on what he did as a player on the field.
He still holds multiple records.

I don’t think it was ever proven that he manipulated the outcome of a game, or that he even attempted such, believe he deserves the HOF and I’d certainly vote to allow him in.
