JSN's drop of the pass right in his hands on 3rd down before the FG attempt was the play that irked me the most near the end of the game. We were driving for a game winning TD there or chip shot FG. I didn't want to have to kick a longer FG there to tie it. Our place kicking game always makes me nervous.
Certainly, JMHO, but that should not have been a pass play. (a) a few extra yards always better for a FG try and (b) Giants still had timeouts and would be good to have one burn them on that play. Passing at that point was not, again in my opinion, the best option. 2nd and 4 made sense. 3rd and 4 did not.

There is a lot more blame in letting the Giants (!?!?!) run roughshod over us than in one fumble or one dropped pass.

DK made a mistake he often makes, fighting for yardage when he has defenders around him often results in a fumble.

That is ONE play.

How about the tens of plays where our secondary was constantly out of position, where our tacklers were off balance and overextended, where our tacklers regularly missed easy plays, or where the Giants just ran up the gut on us...even with their effing QB.

DK made a few bad plays. Our defense made MOSTLY bad plays. Not a close comparison.

On DKs fumble he didn’t even fight for yards.. it literally just didn’t protect or hold on

Jones having the ability to run up the middle so easily was unforgivable....arghhhh!

DK's fumble turnover was critical in both games. Do it once? Ok. Do it twice? Ummm, trend not good.

Broken tackles aren't good either but they aren't as bad as giving the other team the ball when you are in scoring position.

We may be a team that is in a losing rut, but this is not a loser team. We're a team an O Line away from being upper tier.

Improvement on defense is also needed.

A few years away. Just be patient.
