I wasn’t surprised. Although I’m a Buckeye fan, I knew Miami matched up well with them. I watched three of their games this year and once the committee let them in, I had a bad bad feeling considering their chance to beat OSU.
There’s a few players…from both squads…that will be fairly high draft picks when that time comes.
Miami’s RB (Fletcher) is a guy I’d love for us to draft. 6’2, 225…might be able to throw on another 5-10 pounds without losing speed.
He’s not the fastest guy but, his burst and footwork are top notch.
I was surprised, because I had hopes talent would eventually prevail, but I wasn't shocked. Our OL was absolute garbage the entire season, and it finally did us in. It may have been delusional of me to think we'd keep getting away with it. Fans online are trolling us about playcalling, but I thought it was fine. I'm not paying attention to the morons who are calling Day "soft", like last year's playoff run didn't happen.
Disappointing way to end the season (really sucks to waste this defense), but the great part about a program like this is the window is never closed. Sayin, Smith, and Bo Jackson is an embarrassment of riches on offense next year, and we'll be a portal destination for anywhere that's weak. Losing some defensive stars, but when is that ever not the case? No reason next season shouldn't be even more of the same as what we've been fortunate enough to get used to.
