This is the tread dedicated to this season’s contest.
The contest is open to all members, just play if you want to.
This is a season long contest that will require a bit of commitment from the contestants.
Although many eyes will be upon us, it’s strictly the honor system.
Please see the “chatter/information thread that was a previous sticky for all the scuttlebutt.
Please don’t clutter up this thread with questions and suggestions. PM me for that.
Rules are simple.
Post your weekly predictions for all games that week (win vs loss).
1 point will be rewarded for every correct prediction.
At the end of the regular season, the player with the most points will win.
Come back after the week ends and edit your post to reflect how many correct predictions you made (points).
Keep a running tally of your points with each consecutive week.
If you fail to make a post for a particular week, or you miss a particular game (for whatever reason) fear not, you can still continue to play, you just won’t accumulate any points for that week/game.
There will be 2 tie breakers that should be made with your first post.
1st tie breaker) total points for
2nd tie breaker) total points against
SEAHAWKS
I doubt tie breaker will be need but ya never know.
We have some very nice prizes this season, they all have been donated by members from their own personal collections.
Nobody at .net is benefiting from this contest except those that win prizes.
We will for the first time have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize.
First place is a Throwback/Retro Largent jersey donated by @AROS
Second place is a Largent rookie card donated by @RehireMora and a retro zippo lighter along with a wine/whiskey bottle stopper donated by myself.
3rd place is a Largent rookie card donated by @RehireMora
We have had offers of other items that will added when/if I actually receive them and have them in my hand.
I strongly encourage everyone to make the commitment to play.
I along with others believe that this stuff goes a long ways towards building the community and the relationships within.
I encourage banter and (reasonable) smack talking as the season progresses.
Know this up front, anyone perceived or found to be cheating will be booted from the contest, anyone intentionally attempting to sabotage this contest will be permanently banned and lose their privileges to further post @seahawks.net.

ETA, I did originally say that tie breakers must be posted by week 4, I’ll hold to that even though I insinuated here that it needed to be done with your first post.
