That game has been SNF all year. I’m surprised we are both in a position that didn’t get it flexed out.

Have to admit I was kind of hoping it would get flexed out. I’ll be sitting in SEATAC until I board a plane at 5:00. Hopefully I can catch it on the flight otherwise I’ll have to watch the recording.

Early this morning, it looked like Stevens was the way to go, now it looks like it’s getting hit too. See how the day develops. From what I can see, neither look particularly bad.

IDK, Snoqualamie is quite a bit lower and the road is wider. It's seldom worse than Stevens. Besides, it dumps out right downtown next to the stadium.

I was in my Lebaron one time heading back to work in Utah. it snowed and had some on the road north of Jackpot heading towards it. I had some pile in the middle of my lane. I hit it with a tire and did 2 flatspins before ending up on the other lane heading my direction. Stopped. I wandered into Jackpot and settled with a lunch or something til I chilled out and went on down to Elko to Wendover and back to where I was working/living.

So, one time (a few years back) i was riding back from hunting in Eastern WA in my BIL's pickup with him and my older brother. Snowy as hell. The truck had 4WD but BIL always left it in 2WD because "4WD just means you'll get stuck further away from help" (his words). Coming back over Stevens Pass we were getting tailgated (with flashed headlights and everything) by some dude in a car because we were going like 5 under the speed limit. As soon as the opportunity presented itself, the car (an AWD Audi) passed us and the driver gave us a big ol' finger out his window. We proceeded along, and what do you know? At the summit there was a car all tangled up on the guardrail waiting for a tow truck. You guessed it, it was Mr Audi. We made sure to roll the window down to point and laugh when we went by.

The moral of the story is, don't let that car get you to over-confident. Most of the classic Greek tragedies involved humans being punished by the gods for their hubris.

Same story. Pickup from Cali pushing me thru 3 inches of new snow within an hour. He got by me and about 10-20 miles down the road, he was on a downhill slope waiting for a tow truck. I kept going and stopped in town for a momentary break. A couple stopped after me and mentioned that I did things right and he was a prick. They said they were from cali too but there are good people there as well.
Drive to YOUR conditions, not theirs.
