I think an audio and/or video recording of me yesterday would been about as up and down as possible, and quite entertaining. Holy crap, rollercoaster of emotions.
To this day, the outcome of Hawks games absolutely defines my mood that day and for the next few days. Just a game? Probably. Just not to me.
Lol...When Meyers kicked that last FG, I yelled "Hawks win"!! My wife said "Good, you will be in a good mood the rest of the day".

p.s. My doctor asked me if I often wake up grumpy in the morning. I told him I normally let her sleep in.

When you know you know. Always good when the boss is happy and/or doesn't have to listen to us whine about a loss all day.

Most were giving reasons they thought the team deserved the win. I wouldn't take it personally.
That was a rough game but great to win. stressful.

It would be interesting to see an honest poll on who thought they were gonna' lose early to mid-4th quarter.
I did. I was watching at a sports bar. I left when it felt like they were giving up. (In fairness to myself, I've got a case of tendonitis in my left heel, my foot is in a boot, and the game just wasn't making dealing with the pain worth it.) I went home, and found out from my friend that the Seahawks had won.

Fortunately for me, there's an NFL video on youtube starting from the FG block and showing the entire end of the game, so I didn't miss much.

This is an official apology. Yesterday I posted a hot take in the Game Chat right after the game. My post was "they didn't deserve the win, but I'll take it! Admittedly it was a poor choice of words. What I meant to say was I was shocked they came out with the win after struggling mightily with the run and against the run, with 6 dropped passes, and with some questionable coaching choices. Yes, anytime a team wins in the NFL no matter what obstacles they have to overcome, they deserve to win the game. Many of you came at me pretty good, deservedly so, and I did fire back a bit a couple of times in the heat of the moment which got me banned for a day. That said, I am not a troll. I just don't post very often and yesterday I should have kept my relative anonymity. Like I said, things sometimes don't get thought through very well in the heat of the moment. Anyways, I sincerely meant no ill will towards the team or you my fellow fans. Again, my apologies tarnishing what was a fantastic win.

Me yesterday "We won, Honey"
Yes, I heard :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Sometimes, she smartly goes in the other room to watch. I supposedly get a little bit "loud"

Lies!

Mrs. Lagartixa is learning intermediate English invective by observing me when I'm watching football or playing video games.

The interesting thing is that during the fourth quarter, I thought the Seahawks might lose, but I didn't get frustrated or turn off the TV or even do much to teach my wife, much less our neighbors, naughty expressions in English. I think I only mustered a gentle "oh, for f**k's f**king sake!" for Fant's big coulda-been-an-easier-win drop.

We had plans to go to a show by my favorite samba artist (who has also become our friend) at her bar, and we had to leave right around 5PM, which is about the time the game would be expected to end, because it started around 2PM local time. I took my shower at halftime. Did I miss anything important on the halftime show? Just kidding, of course.

When the Seahawks were on the drive late in the fourth, I actually felt pretty good about their chances of winning. When they instead tied the game, that was just about perfect timing for me to turn off the TV and for us to go to what was unsurprisingly a pretty nice evening of samba, followed by hanging around at the bar with the owners, some of the musicians, and some people who were there because they're in a theater piece about Martinho da Vila with our friend who's my favorite samba artist. What's interesting to me is how relaxed I felt when turning off the TV with the game tied and a little less than a minute left on the game clock.

I can access NFL Game Pass on my phone, so I was aware the Seahawks had won right when it happened, which was before we got to the bar.

Woah…hey! I applaud you!

Online, its so easy to essentially say whatever you want and to stand by it regardless if you truly know you’re wrong (or right for that matter).

I’m sure most of us knew what you meant…and ultimately, it wasn’t really a ‘thing’.

But to come back and apologize and clarify your statement to a community, that shows a lot of character.

Much respect!!🫡

Right , I had to change my attitude when we lost a few years ago to the chargers in 95 degrees and I was drunk off my ass and had to admit to my wife I had a real problem after I probably smashed a few things around , nothing expensive lol but damned if after that pats game I was still all buzzing from the 4th quarter cuz we live n die with the Hawks
Heart attack team n hopefully that's how I go out
Go Hawks

Don't apologize for offering your opinion. This place would be boring as hell if we all agreed with each other.

Don't ever apologize for offering opinions, that's the life blood of this place. Now if you're being a dick about it (not calling out the OP specifically here), yes, definitely apologize.

I have a handful of times over the years after one too many fermented grapes and a bad loss that I regretted some of the posts I left. It's like those morning after's where you cringe looking at your drunk texts and immediately regret hitting send.
