So he's been all over entertainment, media, etc. in the last few years. I remember everyone claiming he had a lot of anxiety being interviewed and the media needed to leave him alone. I do wonder if that was just BS and he just wasn't interested in doing that obligatory part of his job.

I wouldn't want to do that extra bs either. The media is a joke and waste of time. They're just looking to dig up some $#!+ or cause trouble, I'd avoid them too. Snakes and rats.

I think his issue was stupid questions asked, like did you think you could score from the 1? You know that stuff, he is a smart man and fun loving, quirkish in many ways and not one to be put in a box. League tried to Box Marshawn, Pete allowed him to be himself good and bad. He still has not touched his football earnings last I heard, all his purchases done with endorsements, help set up many team mates with investment portfolios etc.

As much as I love Beast as a player and a fun personality. No one WANTS to do that media bs....but it's part of the job. What makes him more special vs every other person in the NFL that needs to fulfill their media obligations.

There's crap we all have to smile and just do at our jobs (well most of us), especially when you're paid as a professional. I really don't have much sympathy when it comes to those things. Being part of the NFL isn't just playing the game, it is the entire package. Professional sports, is entertainment. That's where all the money comes from, and doing interviews (and making sure you are not being boxed in) is part of being a professional athlete.

There are many obligatory parts of my job that I am able to get out of because of similar dispositions.

On the words of any politician, if you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying.
