They hung in there down 6 started on defense and the offense played way better tonight. Not the worst outcome.

Look, team was depleted from the start and still never game up.

That’s significant.

Looks like the whole Defense being 'great' was smoke and mirrors. A product more of playing mediocre to worse offenses or QBs.

Sure we had some players injured. Our secondary still looks like hot garbage and our LBs still look like trash, none of which were injured (maybe Love later).

We barely beat the Patriots. Honestly we look a little better than a mediocre Pats team. Nowhere near the Lion's class right now.

Also, that might be one of the worst performances by a Seahawk defense I can recall. Goes down in Seahawk history as one of the worse games by a defense of any Seahawk team of any era.

The offense deserves credit for continuing to fight, despite the defense rolling over repeatedly. But the defense did NOTHING to be proud about.

This is kinda how I feel. The general sentiment was that "this game will show us a lot about this team." And I think it did - we went into a hostile environment with half our defensive starters missing and put up a good fight. It's hard to win in the NFL, and even harder to win on the road, and even harder still to win without your best players. I think they showed some grit and some competitiveness. I think maybe the next game will show a lot about this team too - how they bounce back from a tough game like this.

Yes, I don't think there needs to be any Negative Ned or Negative Nancy talk.

Nor any "sky is falling," talk.

So….your problem is what exactly? You seem to ignore all the prior games we had a full defense with starters and this game the difference was we were missing (6) all the starting Dline.. due to injuries..

No wait let me break this down simpler for you. Ready?

So for the secondary to succeed, you need to Dline to do their job. But when the Dline is a mash unit of 2nd and 3rd string guys… they aren’t doing thier job. When they don’t do their job then the secondary can’t do their job properly because the Dline failed so horribly at thier Job.

Lastly.. the loss to the ravens last yr was the worst loss in recent yrs imo.

Also most my post has a lot of sarcasm, except the part of the part of how the secondary needs the Dline to do their job for theirs to be done correctly as well.
