That was my biggest worry
Well…the bright side for that is we don’t have to worry about leading the division in the first half…we can just play ball. The bright side starts after we win game 2, otherwise, historical Context for 0-2 Starts
- Playoff and Winning Records:
.
Since the 14-team playoff format began in 2020, only two out of 32 teams (6.25%) that started 0-2 made the playoffs. Furthermore, only five of those 32 teams finished the season with a winning record.
- Challenging Path to Playoffs:
.
Reaching the playoffs after a 0-2 start is a long shot, as evidenced by the low success rates.
and the Milroe era may start earlier,Well…the bright side for that is we don’t have to worry about leading the division in the first half…we can just play ball.
Cmon now fly2…we need Williams to be traded to at least 2-3 more teams before we say ‘YAHTZEE’!The Seahawks are only 3 years away from Caleb Williams becoming their QBOTF.
Despite my belief in and support for Milroe I would expect growing pains to include some unaccounted for losses. I do not expect to see a sudden surge toward dominating all comers regardless when he takes the reins.and the Milroe era may start earlier,
I'm still unconvinced he can be a Franchise QB. The tape on him in Alabama is impressive in some parts but Not-so-much in others.Despite my belief in and support for Milroe I would expect growing pains to include some unaccounted for losses. He's not exactly going to be Russell Wilson or anything...
Maybe if he at least became a backup first (and showed competence)....
Who needs Caleb when we have Milroe? The Seahawks are only 3 years away from Caleb Williams becoming their QBOTF.
He’s serious. He’s like a jediIf toffee wasn't well-known for his sarcasm, I would've facepalmed into oblivion.
I say let him play. Let him get enough snaps that it creates a rhythm and deception. I don’t buy that Sam needs the uninterrupted rhythm I think they should both run as much as they passI am convinced there is a generational talent under the little that we have seen in preseason. Our lock down defense and breaking out OL are the perfect setting for him to experience and learn how to dissect NFL.
They will both end up out of the league in 5 years. Milroe aint it.Who needs Caleb when we have Milroe?
