Some nice passes, and although he has great blocking and open receivers in some places, there are times when he makes accurate throws to covered receivers just before he gets hit.

After reading the reports, this stood out to me:
  • Flashes above-average arm strength and creation capacity
  • Elite competitive toughness in clutch situations
  • Superb pocket navigator with poise and discipline
I'm curious, with his prototypical size that seems to mirror Levis, and considering his stats are better than Levis, why isn't he being talked about on the same level as Levis?

Cause he played in the AAC & not the SEC.

Well then, that would be Late, "Round" QBs, as in "Rotund" or "Portly."

RIP Jared Lorenzen. See? That's a Late, Round QB. 🤯

These are they guys that just get it done but are not headline guys, Purdy is a good comparison, the description reads like Brett Farve, risk taker, slippery, throws under pressure well, creative, will change the play up, and has great ball fakes. Could be a real find and give him time to add good weight and strength his deep ball could get more zip as well.
